Cold, damp, but happy!
Wed. Nov. 24 just before the sun set in Evora, we arrived at our apartment.
The car doesn't quite fit in the garage, but we can park in front of it.
Our Frontroom,dining/everything room
We are on the top floor and get our exercise that way!
We have a washing machine right next to the kitchen sink,
and we have a rack near a window to hang our clothes on to dry. It is winter coat time here and with the humidity, most things are slightly damp, but Spring is just around the corner come March/April and it will be absolutely beautiful. Right now, it is the people here that are warming our hearts.
Meet Anderson! He is the counselor to the Branch President and the Executive Secretary here.We met Marcello (Italy) and Monica (England) on the street our second day here.
We were happily surprised when they came to church yesterday to support us in giving our talks.
He is so good to help us record the updated lists to straighten the records in the Evora Branch. He moved from Brasil to Evora to help his aunt take care of his uncle who was in an accident a few years back. Anderson lives right near the Church and so he is good to meet us there when we are trying to figure out the bairros (suberbs) around the city or to adjust the changes after we find that an address doesn't match the actual people who live there anymore. We enjoy this great young man.
