Five days ago we were transferred to São Miguel nos Açores (When we looked up 'Island of Sao Miguel in the Azores' on the internet, Grandpa eyes smiled. "The whole island is full of your favorite flowers!" he said.) We are amazed at the abundant color, sun, and beautiful clouds on this Island. Elise was baptized by her Father, (President Samuel) of our Evora Branch. Our font in Evora is a plastic material stretched over a styrofoam type base...like a hot tub really. We love this sweet family and all of the work they do to help the Evora Branch. Sister Barcellos gave a wonderful talk about Angels (She definitely is one!) at our Zone Conference in Setubel on Tuesday. She has a wonderful way of inspiring all of us! President Barcellos is a dynamic leader and makes us all want to work even more to teach with our hearts as we share the Great News of the Restoration of The Church of Jesus Christ. We can feel their great love for Our Savior. President and Sister Barcellos and their family are loved by all the missionaries...including us. We were able to go to the Temple in Lisbon the next day for a Sisters' Conference and a Session at the Temple (with the couple missionairies in Portugal and on the Azores). So fun to meet some of the new couples that we haven...
