Charity Never Faileth...

Relief Society is 'Sociedade de Socorro" in Portuguese and 'Charity Never Faileth' is A Caridade Nunca Falha',  No matter the language, it means that Love is what we all want, need, and should concentrate on giving to others.  Every One.  Every Time.  Lucia and Rogeria planned a sweet evening to  celebrate the 181st Relief Society Aniversary.

While the sisters were playing games, learning more about Emma Smith, and eating cake, Grandpa was in the adjacent room helping Carlos prepare his family names to take to The Temple.  (and don't you worry...they both enjoyed cake as well!)

A real highlight was a text this week from Sheila who told us that she and Ronaldo will be married on May 19th.  We are so happy for them, their little ones, and their desire to have a Temple marriage someday!  (Hopefully Ronaldo will be baptized soon! They are watching a Temple video in this photo)

The elders texted us to see if we could bring our white board and markers!  What a fun hour and one-half in our favorite park.  We picked up the elders and in that short time we met Milton who made an appointment to come to the family history center this Saturday.  The young elders will be happy to teach him!  We also had a family write 'what makes them happy?' on the board and as we visited...we learned that the mother is a member of our church.  We invited them to attend on Sunday.  We will see...(last sunday, we had 11 people say they would come to church...but of those only two came.  The ones we could fit in the car with us!)

Victor (our friend who is a professional soccer player here from Brasil) gave us tickets to a soccer game. How about that?  A real Friday night date. So Fun! They are reading the Book of Mormon.

Love You!  We hope your week is fantastic!
