Joao 3:5 and Salmos 7:11 (mas como e porque?)

We had a wonderful opportunity to thank the people who work at the Archives here in Evora.  We are thankful for all they do to preserve the records here.  They have been wondering why our church spends so much money and time in assisting them with digitizing the records.  We were glad to share with them the reason and also why we feel their work is so important.  Grandpa reached out to our friend, Dr. Jorge Janeiro about doing a presentation and within the week he had set up for us to do it.  Friday morning we invited the missionaries to go with us and at 10::15 am, off we went.

The workers there were very kind and Dr. Janeiro asked alot of questions during the presentation  He wondered about over 1,000 pages of new scripture, even as we shared the scriptures from the Bible in the power-point.  So, instead of a small presentation, it lasted over an hour!  After the event a lady asked me if she could get one of  the books. We have an appointment to visit with her tomorrow.

Dr. Jorge Janeiro and Grandpa

We walk amidst beautiful miracles everyday...

We invited Joao and Julia to come to our home.  He is a minister in their church.  Such good people and we had a nice visit.  Julia said we must do it again.  They will be going to Brasil for a month to visit their family there.  It was amazing when they called to say they were coming but would be late.

9 year old Miquel is taking the lessons and has marked to be baptized on August 20th.  A wonderful part is that Ricardo (his step-father who was just baptized in Beja) will be the one to baptize him! More to this story, but we need to go get the car from the oil change station and I just heard the washer bell, so will hang up the laundry and start one more load.  Love you all so much!
